Six-part crime thriller for ITV, created by Debbie O’Malley. Starring Morven Christie and Peter Mullan, the series was warmly received by audiences and critics, earning a 71% critics score and 77% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, with particular praise for its gripping storytelling and central performances. Set in and around Edinburgh, the series also stars Prasanna Puwanarajah and Derek Riddell.

Lexie appears to have an idyllic family life with her husband Jared and their children, unaware that Jared has been laundering huge sums of money for Cal Morris through the accountancy business they run together. When Jared is suddenly murdered, Lexie discovers the truth about the life he had been hiding from her and finds herself trapped between Cal and the police officers who have been secretly investigating him. As a partner in Jared’s business, Lexie possesses the financial knowledge both sides need and is forced to continue working for Cal while the police pressure her to help bring him down.

Pulled deeper into the criminal world her husband concealed from her, Lexie is forced to navigate increasingly dangerous moral compromises in order to protect herself and her children. What begins as an ordinary woman discovering her husband’s secret life becomes a tense game of survival, as Lexie attempts to stay one step ahead of both a ruthless organised crime boss and the police operation closing in around him.
